Where Does Your Rebuild Stand?
You Do Not Need Every Piece Finished Before You Ask for Help.
Some homeowners already have plans. Others have an insurance estimate but no construction team. Some are waiting on plan review, comparing budgets, redesigning, or trying to understand what has to happen before work can begin.
- Insurance estimate received, but construction scope is unclear
- Architect selected or plans already underway
- Permits submitted, under review, or corrections received
- Site cleared but construction has not started
- Builder estimates do not align with available funding
- Standing structure needs fire, smoke, or reconstruction evaluation
Unity's first job is to identify the current stage. Then we can discuss the next logical construction steps and whether Unity + CRE are a good fit for the project.
The Rebuild Process
A Coordinated Plan From Documentation to Closeout.
A wildfire rebuild is not one construction decision. It is a sequence of approvals, scopes, professionals, trades, inspections, and owner decisions that have to stay aligned.
Insurance & Scope
Organize existing insurance estimates, contractor scopes, photographs, property information, and rebuild funding information available to the owner.
Architecture & Design
Coordinate with appropriately qualified architects, engineers, and design professionals to define a buildable project.
Permitting
Keep construction information organized for the City of Los Angeles process and respond to project corrections as they arise.
Site & Preconstruction
Confirm site readiness, scope, budget, selections, allowances, schedule, responsibilities, and change procedures before major field work begins.
Construction
Foundation, framing, roofing, exterior assemblies, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, insulation, drywall, and other major phases move forward with the appropriate trades.
Finishes & Closeout
Cabinetry, flooring, paint, fixtures, trim, inspections, corrections, punch-list completion, documentation, and homeowner turnover.
Unity does not determine insurance coverage, interpret policies as a public adjuster, or guarantee payment by an insurance carrier. Coverage decisions remain with the policyholder and carrier.

Next-Step Plan
We discuss the next logical actions and whether Unity + CRE are positioned to help execute the work.

Why Unity Restoration
Restoration Experience Matters When Construction Starts With a Loss.
Unity's background is in damaged properties: assessment, documentation, remediation, fire and smoke restoration, demolition, reconstruction, field communication, and project closeout. That gives our team a different starting point than a contractor who only sees a new build.
Insurance and workers' compensation documentation: Ask our team for current certificates and project-specific vendor documentation applicable to the work before construction begins.

Pacific Palisades Rebuild FAQs
Clear Answers Before the Project Moves Forward.
Call Unity if you are unsure which stage applies to your property.
Ask Unity DirectlyCan Unity help with an entire home rebuild?
Unity can coordinate qualifying reconstruction projects. Where a California contractor license is required, qualifying licensed construction and permit-related work is performed and contracted through CRE Construction & Design Inc., CSLB #1121026.
What if I already have an architect?
That can be a strong starting point. Unity can review the project's current stage and determine whether our team can coordinate with your existing architect, engineer, or design team.
What if all I have is my insurance estimate?
That is enough to begin a Fire Rebuild Readiness Review. Send what you already have rather than waiting for every document to be complete.
Can Unity negotiate my insurance claim?
Unity can prepare or organize construction estimates, scopes, photographs, and project documentation. Unity does not act as a public adjuster and does not guarantee coverage or carrier payment.
Can you help with a standing structure that was damaged but not destroyed?
Yes. Depending on site conditions, work may involve fire and smoke cleaning, odor-source removal, selective demolition, remediation, damaged finishes, contents, and reconstruction.
Can I request insurance and vendor documents?
Yes. Ask the team for current certificates and project-specific vendor documentation applicable to the proposed work.
